Starting Time: 8:00 a.m.

This coffee trip will start at the specified pick-up point, and then we will head to the town of Minca, where we will make a short stop to rest our muscles and inspect the place.

We will take the road that leads to the sector of La Tagua. It will be evident if you look out the window how quickly you ascend the mountain and go from a Tropical Dry Forest to a Rainforest where the climate enhances the experience and provides a different perspective of the mountain. 1.200m.a.s.l. is our goal, there the famous viewpoint of La Y awaits us with one of the most breathtaking views of the entire Caribbean coast.

Arriving at the viewpoint of La Y, we will have a rest area. This place is a must-stop where we will have a typical snack of the region, and if the weather is in our favor, we will enjoy the most privileged view. The heights allow us to have broader perspectives of the majesty of the Caribbean. From the viewpoint of La Y, you will have the opportunity to see the city of Santa Marta, La Cienaga Grande de Santa Marta, and hopefully Barranquilla. We do not hesitate to say that you can not miss a picture of this place on your Instagram.

At the end of the stop, we will walk approximately 20 minutes to the farm 'La Milagrosa,' where we tour the coffee process, from planting to sale. After the explanation, it will be time to relax our legs, for this a hanging hammock and a few chairs will allow us to enjoy our view between the mountain and the sea.

At the end of our visit to the farm, we will return to Minca, where we will have time for lunch.

After lunch, we will visit the representative store of the Cooperativa de Cafeteros de la Costa (Caficosta). We will learn about the roasting process, taste coffee, and have a barista show.
