Description

This is an inlet of white sand, crystal clear waters, and beautiful coral reefs, perfect for those seeking a peaceful environment of rest and without a crowd. Hiking is unnecessary to get to this destination because the tour is done by land and sea transportation. This wonderful place has exceptional characteristics that make it a magical place where you can appreciate beautiful coral bottoms ideal for scuba diving. It is an excellent plan for family or friends trips. Curious fact: this beach was formerly known as Playa del Muerto, attributed to the many indigenous funerary urns found in the surroundings.
  • Meeting point: lodging
    Starting time: 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.
    Finish time: 6:00 p.m.

The plan starts picking you up at the lodging place. Then, we will start the trip by Troncal del Caribe highway until we arrive in the sector known as "Palangana". Then, we will make a slight turn by the second entrance of the Tayrona National Natural Park until we come to the National Park ticket office. Approximately 15 minutes later, it will be possible to buy the entrance tickets.

We will continue in the vehicle until we reach the viewpoint of Playa de las Siete Olas, where you can enjoy the sight and take pictures. During this journey, we will be able to observe a tropical dry forest made up of cactus and bushes. If we are lucky, we can admire the natural beauty of the birds or endemic mammals in this sector.

Also, for approximately 10 minutes more by car, we will arrive in Neguanje, another ideal destination to have contact with nature. Then and finally, we will board a boat that will take us 10 minutes to our goal: Crystal Beach.

Once in Playa Cristal, we will have enough free time to enjoy the sea, the sand, and the sun, have a delicious typical lunch, or do a snorkeling activity *(not included in the plan); beautiful coral reefs and colorful fish mark this place.

Finished the resting time, we will make the return trip to Santa Marta.
